Roadmap to predictability - Immediate replacement in team approach

What is the Dutch “Meteen door!” treatment concept?

Immediate replacement is a modern treatment method characterized by shortened time-to-teeth, less surgical interventions with equal or better prosthetic results and better patient acceptance. The “Meteen door!” concept (which stands for “right away”) means that the dentist does not extract the tooth but refers immediately to the clinician (Meteen door! centre) for immediate replacement. A team approach is hereby elementary.

Key learnings:

The aim of this course is to train the clinician and dental technician for the immediate replacement protocol and point out the crucial steps that will lead to a predictable outcome. Edith and Tristan will guide you through the procedure by means of literature, cases and live surgery. Digital planning and adapted prosthetic work (temporary and final) will also be discussed.

After 3 months and 6 months, the course participants will meet again in ‘s-Hertogenbosch to present their own cases. After having presented a succesful case, they become an official “Meteen door!” centre.
